GUENTHER STEINER, IN UNFILTERED LIVE,
NOVEMBER 13, 2025
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (October 2, 2025) – Ensemble Arts Philly, in association with Magicspace Entertainment, presents former Haas Formula 1 team principal, Guenther Steiner, star of Netflix's smash hit docuseries Drive to Survive, for Guenther Steiner: Unfiltered LIVE at the Miller Theater on November 13, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. From hiring and firing drivers, balancing the books, and pre-season preparations, to the design, launch, and testing of a car – and culminating in the inside story of his severance from the team – Guenther takes the audience on a journey through his unconventional career in motorsports, his decade working on the Haas team, and beyond.
Following his sold-out 2024 tour and the recent release of his book, Unfiltered, Formula 1's favorite underdog is back for his biggest tour yet, taking audiences into the pit lanes and onto the circuits of the world's most famous racetracks. Through this unique lens, Guenther guides the audience on a thrilling rollercoaster ride through the heart of high-stakes motor racing, sharing an unobstructed view of the pressure and exhilaration of high-speed competition.
“This one-night-only event is a chance for longtime fans of speed, storytelling, and spectacle to hear directly from one of the sport’s premier participants,” said Frances Egler, Vice President of Theatrical Programming and Presentations. “Guenther Steiner’s appearance in Philadelphia – his very first in our city – shows the exciting cultural heights that F1 is reaching both here and around the world.”
Guenther Steiner served as the team principal for Haas Formula 1 Team from its inception in 2016 until January 2024. Born in Merano, Italy, Steiner built his reputation through leadership roles at various motorsport organizations, including technical director at Jaguar Racing and managing director at Red Bull Racing. His candid personality and unfiltered commentary on Netflix’s Drive to Survive catapulted him to global fame, making him one of Formula 1's most recognizable personalities, even as principal of one of the grid’s smaller teams. Known for his direct management style and colorful language, Steiner has parlayed his popularity into successful ventures, including his bestselling memoir Surviving to Drive: A Year Inside Formula 1, and his latest book, Unfiltered: My Incredible Decade in Formula 1.
Other featured upcoming performances include Gary Gulman: Grandiloquent (November 14–15, 2025, Perelman Theater inside the Kimmel Center); Whitney Cummings: Big Baby (November 22, 2025, Miller Theater); The Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Show (November 29, 2025, Miller Theater); PHILADANCO!
