BRINGS COMEDY PHENOMENON
HEATHER MCMAHAN AND THE BAMBOOZLED TOUR
TO THE MILLER THEATER,
APRIL 30, 2026
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (March 4, 2026) – Ensemble Arts Philly, in association with Outback Presents, is thrilled to welcome dynamic actress, comedian, and podcaster Heather McMahan and The Bamboozled Tour to the Miller Theater on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. Known for her infectious storytelling and unfiltered humor, McMahan brings a night of riotous, relatable comedy that has made her a fan favorite across stage, screen, and podcasting.
Heather McMahan is currently crisscrossing North America with The Bamboozled Tour, her third national tour, following the breakout success of her hit stand-up specials Son I Never Had (Netflix) and Breadwinner (Hulu), both of which reached the Top 10. Expanding her “Heather-coded” world of luxury, chaos, and fun, she recently organized, hosted, and headlined the Absolutely Knot comedy cruise, a four-day, fully immersive experience inspired by her live shows and her beloved podcast Absolutely Not, drawing thousands of devoted fans for comedy, community, and plenty of high-seas hijinks.
“Ensemble Arts Philly presents artists across a variety of genres whose work fosters connection with audiences, and Heather McMahan does that in abundance, making a room full of people feel like they’re all in on the same inside joke,” said Frances Egler, Vice President of Theatrical Programming and Presentations. “This April, she joins a lineup of women sharing their comedic talent from our stages, as we present stand-up icons Whitney Cummings and Bridget Everett, as well as some fictious funny women in the Broadway hit comedy, Shucked.”
McMahan’s reach extends far beyond the stand-up stage. Described by The Hollywood Reporter as an “auditory David Sedaris for the millennial set,” she was featured in Variety’s “2022 Comedy Impact Report” and performed on Jane Fonda & Lily Tomlin: Ladies Night Live (Netflix), later hosting Fonda’s star-studded 85th and 86th birthday fundraising celebrations. On screen, she starred opposite Nina Dobrev and Jimmy O. Yang in the Netflix hit Love Hard, which debuted at Number 1 worldwide in its first week, and she is a recurring favorite on NBC’s TODAY show, where she has guest-hosted the fourth hour alongside Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager. McMahan has also become a go-to red-carpet correspondent, covering the Emmys, GRAMMYs, and Oscars for E!.
Other featured upcoming performances include Emmet Cohen: Miles and Coltrane at 100 (March 20, 2026, Miller Theater); Sh!t-Faced Shakespeare® Hamlet (March 20–21, 2026, Perelman Theater inside the Kimmel Center); Mae Martin: The Possum (March 27, 2026, Miller Theater); Nimesh Patel: With All Due Disrespect (March 28, 2026, Miller Theater); Bridget Everett: Big Titties, Big Dreams (April 11, 2026, Miller Theater); Shucked (April 21–May 3, 2026, Forrest Theatre); Chicago (May 12–17, 2026, Forrest Theatre); and The Outsiders (May 26–June 7, 2026, Academy of Music).
