ENSEMBLE ARTS PHILLY,
IN ASSOCIATION WITH
LARRY MAGID ENTERTAINMENT, PRESENTS
INTERNATIONALLY RENOWNED ILLUSIONIST,
ASI WIND,
WITH HIS MORE THAN MAGIC TOUR,
NOVEMBER 8, 2025

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(October 2, 2025) – Ensemble Arts Philly, in association with LME, presents one of magic’s most captivating performers, Asi Wind, and his spellbinding More Than Magic tour at the Perelman Theater in the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts on November 8, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. More Than Magic is a visually stunning performance showcasing Wind’s artistic talents while exploring the human spirit.

Wind constantly blurs the line between what is possible and impossible. He believes that true magic can only happen if you bring people together and make them feel like they are a part of the show. Wind’s goal is not to deceive people but to make them care and experience magic. More Than Magic is a profound reminder that we all possess some magic within us.

“Asi Wind crafts intimate moments of wonder with sleight of hand, connecting audiences through shared amazement,” said Frances Egler, Vice President of Theatrical Programming and Presentations. “Like many of our other Ensemble Arts presentations – from Broadway to jazz to comedy – magic is a finely tuned craft, a challenge to the mind that requires precision, creativity, and theatrical storytelling.”

Born in Tel Aviv and now based in New York City, Asi Wind has established himself as one of the world's premier close-up magicians. His innovative approach combines elements of mentalism, sleight of hand, and storytelling to create uniquely personal experiences for his audiences. Beyond performing, Wind is a respected creator and consultant who has developed original material for top magicians worldwide, including David Blaine. His deep understanding of both the technical and psychological aspects of magic has earned him the admiration of peers and critics alike.

Wind's sold-out off-Broadway show, Inner Circle, received enthusiastic rave reviews and extended its impressive run six times, totaling 448 shows. It was featured in high-profile journals and prestigious newspapers worldwide. The acclaimed show was highlighted as a New York Times Critic's Pick and attracted celebrities and magic enthusiasts from across the globe. Wind then ran for six months to sold-out audiences on the West End in his hit show Incredibly Human.

The prestigious Academy of Magical Arts at Hollywood's famed Magic Castle honored Asi Wind with both its coveted Close-up Magician of the Year as well as the Magician of the Year award.

Other featured upcoming performances include An Evening with Samara Joy (November 11, 2025, Miller Theater); Guenther Steiner: Unfiltered LIVE (November 13, 2025, Miller Theater); Gary Gulman: Grandiloquent  (November 14–15, 2025, Perelman Theater inside the Kimmel Center); Whitney Cummings: Big Baby  (November 22, 2025, Miller Theater); The Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Show (November 29, 2025, Miller Theater); PHILADANCO!
