Peppa Pig: My First Concert

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (March 4, 2026) – Ensemble Arts Philly is delighted to welcome Peppa Pig, along with Mummy Pig, Daddy Pig, and George, to the Miller Theater for two performances of Peppa Pig: My First Concert on Saturday, April 4, 2026. This playful and interactive introduction to live orchestral music is designed especially for young audiences ages 18 months and older, offering families a joyful first concert experience with their favorite lovable pig.

Peppa Pig: My First Concert invites children and their grown-ups to explore the exciting world of music as Peppa and George learn how different instruments sound when they play together. Audience members will enjoy familiar tunes from the beloved TV series performed by The Muddy Puddles Orchestra, along with lively orchestral selections chosen to spark imagination and discovery. Little piggies will be encouraged to sing, dance, and play along throughout the performance.

“Ensemble Arts Philly’s Family Discovery Series provides a fun and engaging pathway to the arts for our youngest audiences,” said Frances Egler, Vice President of Theatrical Programming and Presentations. “These Peppa Pig performances are opportunities for us to help our littlest arts lovers discover the magic of orchestral instruments, sparking curiosity and encouraging inclusivity within the arts.”

A sensory-friendly performance will also be offered at 4 p.m., providing a welcoming experience for individuals with sensory needs – including people on the autism spectrum, young children, and those new to live entertainment. This modified performance allows audience members to move freely, make noise as needed, and enjoy the show in a safe, non-judgmental environment, supported by staff trained to accommodate guests’ needs.

The Peppa Pig: My First Concert performances are part of The Philadelphia Orchestra and Ensemble Arts’ 2025–26 Family Discovery Series. Upcoming shows in the 2025–26 Family Discovery Series include: The Sound of Music (March 31–April 5, 2026, Academy of Music) and Dog Man: The Musical (April 25–26, 2026, Miller Theater).
