FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (Philadelphia, PA, September 23, 2026) – Nonprofit Ensemble Arts Philly announced the full 2026–27 season today, spanning Broadway, jazz, comedy, dance, family programming, and immersive experiences across four landmark performing arts destinations, as well as orchestral masterworks from The Philadelphia Orchestra. The season reflects a singular artistic vision: presenting performances that invite audiences of every background and generation to see themselves reflected on stage while discovering new artistic experiences across genres.
Each year, Ensemble Arts Philly welcomes over one million guests to approximately 1,500 events and reaches more than 300,000 people through free education and community programs, including arts education initiatives that impact more than 45,000 students. By bringing together extraordinary talent from Philadelphia and around the world for ticketed performances, Ensemble Arts creates opportunities for young people and broad audiences to experience the joy, wonder, and shared connection of live performance.
Throughout the 2026–27 season, the organization will continue to expand opportunities for engagement within its comprehensive range of accessibility services, including American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation, audio description, captioning, assistive listening technology, wheelchair-accessible seating, and sensory-friendly offerings available across select performances and venues.
The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts celebrates 25 years as a hub for artistic excellence, community engagement, architectural innovation, and economic impact. More than 10 million people have engaged with the arts at the Kimmel Center since its inception. The 2026–27 season will include anniversary events, special food and beverage offerings through the Rhubarb Hospitality Collection, and opportunities for the public to share their Kimmel Center memories.
“Few organizations have the opportunity to bring people together through such a wide spectrum of artistic experiences, and we believe that carries real civic responsibility” said Ryan Fleur, President and CEO of The Philadelphia Orchestra and Ensemble Arts. “Twenty-five years ago, the Kimmel Center was built to provide a home for our world-renowned Philadelphia Orchestra and serve as a place that welcomes all communities. That’s why, to honor that legacy, our season is curated to reflect the city we serve in all its creativity, curiosity, and diversity. In doing so, this extraordinary gathering place can continue to welcome new generations, inspire discovery, and strengthen Philadelphia’s cultural life for decades to come.”
