NEW YORK TIMES AND INTERNATIONAL
BEST-SELLING AUTHOR, NADIA CATERINA MUNNO,
A.K.A THE PASTA QUEEN, LIVE ON TOUR
CELEBRATING HER NEWEST BOOK,
THE ART OF ITALIAN COOKING,
NOVEMBER 13, 2024
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (October 3, 2024) – Ensemble Arts Philly is thrilled to present Nadia Caterina Munno, a.k.a. The Pasta Queen, live for an evening filled with drama and all things all’ltaliana as she celebrates her newest cookbook, The Art of Italian Cooking, at the Perelman Theater on November 13, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. Joined by a special guest, the night will be filled with untold stories, never before seen footage, and even a game or two alongside the Pasta Queen herself. All tickets include a copy of The Art of Italian Cooking.
Munno is an Italian-born chef, social media star, and New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestselling author. Known for her palpable humor and dramatic storytelling in the kitchen, Munno’s online presence has spread like wildfire, amassing millions of followers on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook. She has appeared on Today, The Drew Barrymore Show, Sherri, and Good Morning America, and was named a “force to be reckoned with in the digital space” by both Entrepreneur Magazine and Social Media Week.
"We are thrilled to host the vibrant and inspiring Pasta Queen, Nadia Caterina Munno, for an intimate evening of conversation, laughter, and perhaps a few cooking secrets,” said Frances Egler, Vice President of Theatrical Programming and Presentations. “Influenced by her rich Italian heritage, Munno presents a spirited gastronome experience, blending her traditional recipes, culinary exploration, and passion for food.”
Born and raised in Rome, Italy, Munno comes from a long line of pasta makers. Her family, well-known in Rome as the “Macaroni,” has been making pasta in their factory in Southern Italy since the 1800s. As fifth generation “Macaroni,” she is eager to share some of her family’s cooking secrets with unique and mouth-watering recipes to millions of people every day.
Munno is The New York Times and international best-selling author of The Pasta Queen: A Just Gorgeous Cookbook: 100+ Recipes and Stories, which was named one of the “Best Cookbooks this Fall” by Forbes. The book landed on The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Publisher’s Weekly, and Toronto Star best-sellers list one week after its release. Her mission is to bring her followers – who she considers part of her Macaroni family – a Modern Renaissance, a new way of cooking, and making those shareable moments with the people they love most in their lives.
Munno’s newest cookbook, The Art of Italian Cooking, will be released on November 12, 2024, and delves into Munno’s food philosophies, including the importance of using seasonal ingredients, following a balanced diet, and celebrating cultural history through food.
All tickets will include a copy of The Art of Italian Cooking. A limited number of VIP tickets are available. The VIP experience includes premium seating, a meet & greet and photo with The Pasta Queen, and a signed copy of The Art of Italian Cooking.
