FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(February 3, 2025) – Ensemble Arts Philly presents a captivating event on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 1:00 p.m.: The RESET – An Immersive Sound Experience with Davin Youngs at the Perelman Theater. Experience sight and sound like never before. At the captivating crossroads of wellness and music lies The RESET – a journey beyond the traditional concert experience into a space of profound transformation and healing.

“We are proud to present programming that appeals to diverse audiences and attracts new ones,” said Crystal Brewe, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing and Audience Experience Officer “Different from much of our traditional proscenium programming, The RESET is about being immersed in the art through a 360-degree experience that transforms the space itself. Perelman Theater will physically change from a traditional recital hall to a sanctuary of sound where everyone is onstage.”

Ready to experience something completely different? The RESET invites you to step into a world where music transcends sound – taking you on a journey of relaxation, renewal, and deep connection. The theater will be transformed into a modern sanctuary of immersive sound.

This isn't a traditional concert – it's an invitation to fully immerse yourself. Sink into a soundscape that moves through you, elevating your mind and body. Bring your yoga mat, pillows, and blankets, and you'll leave feeling like you just hit the reset button on your state of mind.

Youngs’ performances have captivated audiences everywhere, from intimate settings like the Ace Hotel Chicago rooftop to the world's most iconic concert hall stages and the Arcosanti in the Arizona desert. Now, his unique approach comes to Philadelphia, offering a rare chance to explore the cutting edge of sound and wellness in a venue renowned for its acoustics. Youngs blends crystal-singing bowls, tuning forks, electronic beats, and innovative soundscapes to create an electro-acoustic experience like nothing you've ever encountered.

About Davin Youngs
Davin Youngs is a true musical innovator who believes wholeheartedly in the transformational power of singing, voice and sound.

He is the creator of The RESET, an immersive sound healing experience that he has brought to iconic stages like The Kennedy Center’s Concert Hall, Chicago's famed Orchestra Hall, Nashville’s Schermerhorn Symphony Center, and Finney Chapel at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music. This experience features Youngs using improvisational singing through looping devices as well as overtone-emitting instruments to create a sonic container for restoration and healing. What makes this experience truly unique is the subtle integration of electronic beats and the emergence of improvised music that reflects the wonder and beauty of each person present.

Youngs is a featured teacher on the Insight Timer meditation app where his extensive library of recorded meditations and immersive sound experiences are available for streaming. Additionally, he hosts the highly rated Free Your Voice, Free Your Life podcast and works with some of today’s most influential singers, performers and leaders on finding more freedom, authenticity and ease with their voice.

In the lineage of Bobby McFerrin's circle songs, Youngs has a passion and gift for leading others in improvisational singing. With this in mind, he created VOXUS, an experience that brings professional and corporate groups quickly and playfully into singing and spontaneous song. From Coca-Cola to Google to Chicago Public schools, Youngs is one of today's most exciting voices in well-being, leadership and professional development. His innovative keynotes have been heard by groups ranging from corporate executives to community organizers and Presbyterian clergy.
