Cello
Whether it’s playing a soft, slow melody or powering through an intense, dramatic passage, the cello has a voice all its own.
Cellists help shape the mood of the music, adding emotion, texture, and energy to every performance. From a gentle whisper to a powerful roar, the cello is one of the most expressive instruments in the orchestra and it can sound like almost anything! Celebrate the cello with us this October.
The Sound All Around concert series is endowed in perpetuity by the Garrison Family Fund for Children’s Concerts, with additional support from the Acadia Fund.
