High School: Philadelphia High School for Creative and Performing Arts

Simon Church is a Senior Instrumental major at the Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts. Simon has been studying jazz piano for 8 years and playing percussion since he was a toddler. He is percussion section leader in CAPA’s concert band and orchestra, and principal piano for the Philadelphia All-City Jazz Band. Simon has also studied at the Clef Club and the Kimmel Jazz Collective. Simon plans to study composition in college.
