All City Orchestra & Jazz Fellowships

FREE | Instrumental Music 

The Philadelphia Orchestra and Ensemble Arts is proud to be lead artistic partner for the School District of Philadelphia’s All City High School Orchestra and delighted to partner on the All City Jazz Program.   

Through the All City Orchestra Fellowship, talented young musicians from resilient communities are selected through a rigorous audition and interview process to receive mentorship from professional musicians, including members of The Philadelphia Orchestra and local jazz professionals. Fellows also receive:   

  • Year-round mentorship and up to 40 private lessons    

  • Professional headshots    

  • Community projects and performance opportunities    

  • Access to select master classes and speaker series through The Philadelphia Orchestra and partnering organizations    

  • Free and discounted ticket offers for Philadelphia Orchestra concerts, Ensemble Arts programming, and select rehearsals (e.g., Broadway Series, Family Discovery Series, Jazz Series, and more!)      

  • Exclusive meet-and-greet opportunities with guest artists   

  • Educational workshops, public speaking, and leadership opportunities through Project 440    

  • Monetary allotment to be used towards continued musical education and advancement   

In addition to the Fellowship, the Philadelphia Orchestra and Ensemble Arts is honored to present the annual All City High School Festival and All City Middle School Festival in Marian Anderson Hall of the Kimmel Center.
