Under the baton of Rosalind Erwin, PYAO opens its season with Rimsky-Korsakov’s sparkling Capriccio espagnole, a colorful celebration of Spanish dance and rhythm. The program concludes with Dvořák’s beloved Symphony No. 9 “From the New World”, shaped by the folk traditions and musical influences he encountered during his time in the United States.
