Held in Philadelphia ahead of America’s 250th birthday celebrations, TED Democracy Philadelphia: Founding Futures brings global thinkers to the birthplace of modern democracy to explore what comes next.

On June 13, 2026, the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts hosts a full day of ideas, conversation and connection focused around the past, present and future of democracy.

Expect 15-plus new TED Talks in Marian Anderson Hall, plus immersive experiences, performances and spaces designed for reflection and exchange.

In between three main-stage sessions, head to the Public Square for pop-up programming and time to connect, or visit the PEW Spotlight Stage for live interviews and performances.

Throughout the day-long event, explore hands-on activations with leading partners, join in on small-group Discovery Sessions (advance sign-up required) or recharge in the Restore Lounge.

A curated food program spotlights top Philadelphia chefs and accommodates a range of dietary needs. The day concludes with a two-hour closing celebration featuring food, drinks, live music and plenty of time to talk.

Secure your tickets now for this milestone moment in Philadelphia.
