Building a Brighter Future
The Campaign for The Philadelphia Orchestra and Ensemble ArtsYour support fuels artistic excellence, community connection, and the venues that bring it all to life.
For generations, The Philadelphia Orchestra and Ensemble Arts has stood at the heart of Philadelphia’s cultural life. Since the Academy of Music opened its doors in 1857, our stages have been a cornerstone of the city’s cultural and civic identity. Each year, we welcome more than one million visitors, support over 3,600 jobs, generate $400 million in economic impact, and reach more than 40,000 students through arts education. Now, as we celebrate the Orchestra’s 125th anniversary and mark nearly 25 years of the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, we are building on this foundation with renewed vision and purpose.
The Campaign for The Philadelphia Orchestra and Ensemble Arts is a bold, $330 million investment in a vibrant future for the arts. It is our promise to champion artistic excellence, expand meaningful community engagement, and preserve and reimagine the iconic venues that make this work possible.

Join Us in Shaping the Next Chapter
Thanks to the generosity of leading philanthropists and passionate advocates, the Campaign for The Philadelphia Orchestra and Ensemble Arts is already 90% of the way to its $330 million goal. This progress reflects a shared belief that the arts are essential to Philadelphia’s cultural vitality and civic strength.
But the future of the arts belongs to all of us. To meet this moment, we need the support of our broader community—arts patrons, music lovers, and citizens who believe the arts are central to Philadelphia’s future. Every gift matters. Every contribution moves us forward.
