Beethoven’s beloved “Emperor” Piano Concerto swaggers and sighs, evoking a full heart of emotions and demanding both skill and passion from the performer. Beethoven’s radiantly joyful Fourth Symphony completes this program of favorites. Composed between his mighty “Eroica” and his beloved Fifth Symphony, Beethoven’s Fourth is a joyful experience for the listener, filled with humor and charm.
