Praised for their “utterly unified” ensemble artistry (EarRelevant), the two-time GRAMMY-nominated Dover Quartet returns to PCMS with a program that explores the heart of the American story. The afternoon highlights Chickasaw composer Jerod Impichchaachaaha’ Tate’s inventive interpretations of Native American folk music and the clans of the Eastern Woodlands People. The performance also features Jessie Montgomery’s soulful arrangement of Strum and Dvořák’s spirited American Quartet.
