General music education and ensemble-based instruction are provided multiple times per week, by the school’s Music Teachers and Ensemble Arts Philly Teaching Artists. Music education includes multiple genres including orchestral music, jazz, and hip-hop. The School Ensemble Program boasts an Honors Orchestra and Bounce Band that perform annually at the Kimmel Center and other community venues.
