For more than a decade © Mister Mann's Jam Session has been a cultural revolution in Philadelphia. It is a live music experience that levitates its audience into the stratosphere where rhythm, blues, and soul reside. It is a hand clapping, foot stomping romp that also allows for soul stirring and emotional experiences. The highly celebrated cover band is composed of musicians and singers who reflect the high quality and unique flare that separates Philly from the rest. On Saturday March 30, 2024 the audience will enjoy the Pop, R&B, Soul, Gospel and Neo Soul classics that are loved by millions.
'Mister Mann's Jam Band' is the brainchild of event curator and host Mister Mann Frisby, a South Philadelphia native who has always had a passion for every dynamic aspect of the Black music experience. The musical director is Sunny Dee (Dionna Miller), a noted drummer who is co-creator of 'The Female Takeover' brand which celebrates and highlights the contributions of women in music.
