FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (May 22, 2024) – Ensemble Arts Philly, the new presenting brand from the Kimmel Cultural Campus, in association with Live Nation, presents YouTube comedy sensations and self-proclaimed “Internetainers,” Rhett & Link, on their first ever Good Mythical Tour at the Academy of Music on June 9, 2024, at 7:30 p.m.
Audiences will be able to join Rhett & Link and the Mythical Crew live and in-person for a night that will bring the show you love to life, like you’ve never experienced it before. Good Mythical will feature favorite segments, classic games, music, mayhem, Mythicality, and more!
“Many of us follow our favorite celebrities, podcasters, or speakers on social media, never thinking they’ll one day transition from our screen to real life,” said Frances Egler, Vice President of Theatrical Programming and Presentations. “Creative and innovative performers, Rhett and Link are treating their fans to the ultimate live experience with this night of laughter, plus the opportunity to meet the people behind the camera, from Rhett & Link to producers Stevie & Chase, and ‘Mythical Chef’ Josh & producer Emily.”
Rhett & Link, best friends since the first grade and later roommates at North Carolina State University, are a comedic duo known for hosting the most-watched daily show on the Internet, Good Mythical Morning; their narrative series Rhett & Link’s Buddy System; the award-winning weekly podcast, Ear Biscuits; as well as their wildly popular comedic songs, sketches, and viral low-budget local commercials.
Rhett & Link have been leading lights in YouTube entertainment comedy since 2006 and have been featured on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Conan, NPR, and USA Today, among other media outlets. Their content productions have won various awards over the years, including Webby, Streamy, and Shorty Awards, and reached number 13 on The New York Times Best Sellers list after publishing a book together in 2019.
